Energy Bars – Delicious Granola Bars Easy Without Cooking

Energy bars are an excellent way to recharge your batteries quickly, whether before or after a workout, or simply for a healthy and delicious snack. Home-made granola bars without cooking are easy to prepare and allow you to control the ingredients you put there.

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups of oatmeal
  • 1 cup of denoted dates
  • 1/2 cup chia seeds
  • 1/2 cup of nuts of your choice (cash nuts, pecan nuts, almonds…)
  • 1/2 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter or almond
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon powder
  • A pinch of salt

Instructions:

  1. Mix dates, honey (or maple syrup), peanut butter, vanilla, cinnamon and salt together until blended.
  2. Add oat flakes, chia seeds and crushed nuts. Mix by hand to form a consistent paste.
  3. Spread the dough on a plate or dish covered with sulphurized paper, then press firmly with the hands to compact the mixture well.
  4. Let stand in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours to allow the bars to harden.
  5. Cut into bars of the desired size and keep fresh until eaten.
