How to Own a Lemon tree in a Plastic Bottle

Spreading a lemon tree in a plastic bottle is a practical and economical way to grow your own lemon tree. Here is how to proceed:

Materials required:

  • Transparent plastic bottle
  • Special earth for cuttings
  • Lemonary mother
  • Gardening scissors
  • Water glass

Steps to follow:

  1. Take a clear plastic bottle and cut it in half to mid height using gardening scissors.
  2. Fill the bottom half of the bottle with special soil for cuttings.
  3. Take a cutting about 10 cm long from a mother lemon tree, making sure to cut just below a knot.
  4. Soak the base of the cutting in a glass of water to promote root development for a few hours.
  5. Plant the cutting in the soil of the bottle so that the knot is covered by the ground.
  6. Water the cutting slightly to moisten the soil and make sure to maintain constant moisture by spraying it regularly.
  7. Place the bottle in a bright place but away from the direct sun, to promote the growth of the cutting.
  8. After a few weeks, roots should begin to form. You can then transplant the cutting into an individual pot with a suitable mixture of soil.
  9. Keep taking care of your young lemon tree by making sure to water regularly and provide it with good sunshine.

With a little patience and care, you can soon enjoy your own lemon tree grown from a cutting in a plastic bottle. Good culture!
