How to effectively propagate anone

Lanone, also known as Cherimoya or Apple-Cinnamon, is a delicious exotic fruit appreciated for its sweet flavor and creamy flesh. If you want to spread the anone to enjoy it at home or to make your loved ones enjoy it, here is a method that I tested and that has given incredible results.

1. Choice of ripe fruit

Start by selecting a ripe and healthy fruit for propagation. Make sure that it is ripe but not too ripe, as the fruit too ripe can be difficult to spread successfully.

2. Seed preparation

Remove the seeds from anone by gently extracting them from the flesh of the fruit. Wash the seeds with clear water to remove any remaining pulp or flesh.

3. Seed Trempage

Place the seeds in a bowl of water and soak for 24 hours. This soak will soften the seed shell and facilitate germination.

4. Seed planting

After soaking, plant the seeds in a pot filled with light, well drained soil. Make sure the seeds are covered with about 1 to 2 centimetres of soil.

5. Growth conditions

  • Place the pot in a warm and bright place, but away from the direct sun.
  • Keep the soil slightly moist while watering regularly, but avoid excess water so as not to rot the seeds.
  • You can also cover the pot with a transparent plastic film to create a greenhouse effect and promote seed germination.

6. Transplantation of young plants

Once the seeds have germinated and the young plants have reached a sufficient size, you can transplant them into individual pots or into the open ground if the climate in your area permits.

7. Plant maintenance

  • Keep watering the plants regularly, ensuring that the soil does not dry between waterings.
  • Feed the plants with a balanced fertilizer to promote their growth.
  • Size plants to promote lateral branch development and obtain more abundant fruit.

By following these steps carefully, I myself tried to spread the anone in this way and the results were simply amazing. In a few months, I was able to get vigorous young plants ready to be transplanted into my garden.

Try this method of spreading anone in your home and enjoy the satisfaction of seeing your plants grow and produce delicious exotic fruits. Good luck!
